- Remove old door if any.
- Dispose of old door if any.

- Ensure new storm door or new screen door handle and lock are installed and functioning properly.
- Ensure safety spring engages so new screen door installation does not rip off from framing.
- Adjust new storm door closer.
- Adjust base box-sweep to match sill plate.
- Ensure new storm door window functions properly.
