Lock Surgeon features the Mul-T-Lock and the Mul-T-Lock key systems. A grade 1 product with a very specialized key. These keys have dimples in them that make them non-duplicatable and unavailable at any other locksmith shop except here at Lock Surgeon, where it is registered and kept in a secure file. Anyone wanting one of these keys made must have a security clearance letter have their name in the file. No duplicates can be made by people that have one but are not on file with us. This level of security protects you if you gave one to a service technician, dog walker, or just someone looking after your home. That person cannot get a duplicate key made. Not only is the key specialized but the unit itself has a keyway that is non-pickable and non-drillable no one is getting into this lock unless you have the authority to have a key to get in.

The Mul-T-Lock deadbolt system that goes with the specialized keys has a spin collar that is solid steel, has a solid steel core, has a solid pick-shield which stops picks from getting into the door and opening the deadbolt. This unit has a very heavy duty interior T-turn. The tube and bolt are hardened steel. Another very unique feature is that it has a ballbearing in the front of it that interlocks with your door frame to stop it from spreading apart. There is also one inside the tube itself that interlocks with the faceplate of the door to keep it from spreadking out.

Part of the security of this deadbolt unit is that it has a T-turn that can be removed. Why would you want remove the T-turn? Well, maybe you have a window that is close to the door, somebody could break the window, reach in and turn the deadbolt easily and they'll get in and out of your house. With this unit however, we can turn the key, remove the T-turn and put it away someplace safe where it can't be used by a thief. Having the T-turn removed will keep the grandkids from removing it when you weren't paying attention. When you need it you just put it back in and use the key to lock it in place. You can have it in while you're home but you can take it out when you go on vacation or if you have issues that you are concerned about with safety.

These grade 1 units are commonly used on homes around the city as well as commercial businesses and are a fantastic high-security device to protect your assests.

Push Button Entry Systems

Here at Lock Surgeon we carry a number of push-Button digital entry systems that are top of the line, heavy duty units. These units are built tough and will take the punishment of use for a long time. This first unit has a ball-knob on the inside to get out and a keypad on the outside to get in. Used on garages, offices, storerooms, warehouse entries, that sort of thing. This second unit here is what I use on my home, it's the deadbolt system. On the inside we've got deadbolt thumb-turn like you'd find on a regular deadbolt. The codes on these are very easy to change and the technician can quickly show you how once it's been installed. like I've said I have this one on my home and I've used it for over twenty years. These two units are virtually bulletproof, made of all metal, with no plastic parts, no batteries they are all mechanical.

This next unit has a special feature, a key override. So you can use a code to retract the deadbolt or use the key override. To put the deadbolt in place you can again use the code, the key override or we could just press the lock button. The key override is a really great feature for areas like an office commercial building. A number of these could be installed with a code but and a maintenance person or cleaning personnel would just use a key override for the units and don't need to remember the code or worry about it having been changed.

This last unit allows for a few more options. It has a touch screen rather than buttons to open or close the deadbolt. This particular model has wifi and can be connected to your phone with an app, making it bit more of an investment. All of these units really are an investment but this one, with the talk about home automation these days, is going to cost a little more than your average push-button entry unit.

All of these units are really just built for convenience. You don't have to worry about the kids coming home early and you're not home to let them in, or a maintenance man can show up and you can give him a code over the phone to get in. They're great, reliable, and you don't have to worry about lost keys.
